Irish War Memorial Gardens
South Circular Road, Islandbridge, Dublin 8
Review
The Irish National War Memorial Gardens at Islandbridge, opposite Phoenix Park are dedicated to the memory of the 49,400 Irish soldiers who died between 1914 - 1918 in the First World War. These gardens are not only a place of remembrance, but are also of great architectural interest and beauty. Sunken rose gardens, herbaceous borders and extensive tree planting make for an enjoyable visit to the gardens in any season for anyone.
Parking near the gardens is free and usually there are many vacant parking lots.
How to get there: Bus: 51, 68, 69
