Ardgillan Demesne Regional Park playground

Darcystown Road, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

Review
"Ardgillan Castle has what is called an "adventure playground" on the grounds. it's a fantastic playground, with facilities for all ages. It is really well-equipped and ranges from swings and slides for babies and toddlers, up to a zip line and rope climbing frame for older kids. The ground is rubberised, making it good in any weather. It's a large playground, and is on the top of a hill which slopes down to the irish sea. The views are unbelievable. Because it's in the grounds of a castle, there are (literally) acres of green area around it for ball games etc, along with the castle, which has tea rooms. When the kids are exhausted, Skerries village is a 10 minute drive away with loads of great eating places, a playground of it's own and a few ice-cream shops that are definitely worth a visit.
This playground is almost empty on weekdays and evenings; it tends to get busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Plenty of parking available."
